D.C. + legal marijuana = scary
I was glad medical marijuana lost in Florida.
I am not familiar with what the proposed Florida law said. The devil can be in the details. For a long time I have read that marijuana can ease the side effects of chemotherapy and I don’t see (remember, details count) why it couldn’t be prescribed and used for sound medical reasons. There are lots of other substances which are similarly misused without supervision but which have legitimate medical uses.
Medical marijuana is just a step and tactic toward total legalization. Until legalization the propanganda will be that it’s totaly harmless and after legalization, all of a sudden, we will suddenly discover the harm this drug does. Then they will start to impliment programs to treat the drug related problems caused by legalization.
The only reason for legalization is that the problems created by prohibition are worse than the problems created by legalization.
No, it’s not harmless. New studies show that it’s more harmful than previously believed. However, there is a legitimate argument for medical use in limited cases, chemotherapy side effects being the one most mentioned. Most drugs are dangerous if overused or misused.
